How much will I pay per km that I drive?

When you select your vehicle, you will also select the rate to be charged for your rental. Each rate has an allocation of free kms and a price per km driven over and above the free allocation.  The free km allocation is summed up across the rental and you can use up your total allocation on any day of the rental.  When you pick up your vehicle, the starting kms will be recorded from the vehicle dashboard, and the final kms noted when you return the vehicle - the difference will be used to calculate your total kms travelled.

For instance, if your chosen rate has a daily free km allocation of 100km, and a cost per extra km of R1, if your rental is 4 days then you will receive 400 free kms. If you drive 500 kms at any point in your rental, you will be charged 500 - 400 = 100kms at a rate of R1 per km, so a total charge of R100 after you return the vehicle, excluding VAT.

We also supply an Unlimited Mileage rate option on most vehicle models, which will allow you to drive any distance without additional charge.
