Just like our wide range of vehicles, at Woodford Car Hire we keep ourselves moving and evolving. Here are some of the things that have been keeping us busy recently:

• Our new head office - An exciting announcement is that a new head office for the Woodford Group will be unveiled soon in central Durban. We won’t give away too many details just yet, but this new addition will be the base from which we continue to make magic happen around South Africa. We’ll give you more information on this development a little closer to the opening…
• Galileo has gone live - Last year, we made it a priority to find technology that matches our company’s high service levels. Working with our partners, we’ve been able to implement a number of back-end tools that ensure our clients and vendors get the best possible deal through Woodford. The latest system to go live is Galileo – a computer reservations system (CRS) that can be used to book vehicles and accommodation. The system facilitates automated transactions for booking agents and links all associated travel services. As with all our technological developments, we’re proud to present our clients with the very best in online and offline service.
• New affiliation with Economy Rent A Car - Woodford Car Hire is the largest independent vehicle hire company in South Africa. Over the past two decades, we’ve managed to retain our personal touch while still expanding by establishing relationships with key partners. Most recently, we’ve become affiliated with Costa Rican rental giant, Economy Rent A Car. The company has a footprint in 18 countries and provides for competitive rates for clients traveling in any one of its 60 locations.
